What ToolkitJar is

ToolkitJar is a collection of free online tools for everyday tasks: counting words, converting units and colors, formatting code, compressing images, generating SEO tags and much more. Every tool runs directly in your web browser, so results are instant and nothing you enter is sent to a server.

The site exists because most "free online tool" websites are slow, cluttered with pop-ups, and often upload your data to unknown servers. We wanted a place where the tool loads fast, does exactly one job well, explains how it works, and respects your privacy.

Our principles

  • Private by default. Text, numbers and files are processed on your device using JavaScript. We cannot see them, and we do not store them.
  • Free, with no limits. No accounts, no daily quotas, no watermarks, no "pro" version. The site is funded by unobtrusive advertising.
  • Accurate and explained. Each tool page describes the method or formula behind the result, with worked examples and answers to common questions, so you can verify the output yourself.
  • Fast on any device. Pages are pre-rendered and each tool loads only the code it needs. Everything works on phones, tablets and desktops.
  • Continuously improved. New tools are added every week and existing tools are refined based on feedback from visitors.

Who is behind the site

ToolkitJar is built and maintained by Ubaidullah, a software developer. You can reach Ubaidullah directly through the contact page.

We are not affiliated with Google, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok or any other platform mentioned on the site. Platform names are used only to describe what a tool is for.

How the tools and guides are made

Every tool is working software that runs in your browser, not just a page of text. Tools are tested in a real browser and their results are checked against independently calculated values before they are published.

The written guides and explanations are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then checked for accuracy, and Ubaidullah is responsible for what is published. The full details, including how we handle corrections, are on the editorial policy page.

How we choose what to build

We look at three things: what people search for, where existing tools fall short, and what visitors ask us for through the contact page. If a tool is on the site, it is because real people need it, and we believe we can do it better than what is already out there.

Corrections and feedback

Accuracy matters to us. If you find an error in a tool or a guide, or you have an idea for a new tool, please get in touch. We fix confirmed bugs quickly and credit helpful reports where appropriate.

  • Character advance-width measurements derived from the Liberation Sans font (SIL Open Font License 1.1), used by the title/meta description length checker and the SERP snippet preview to estimate pixel widths. Only numeric width data is included; no font files are distributed.
