This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use https://toolkitjar.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
The short version
- Your tool inputs never leave your device. Text you paste, numbers you enter and files you open are processed by JavaScript running in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used in aggregate (which pages are visited, from which countries, on which devices).
- The Site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to show relevant ads and measure their performance.
- You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalised advertising as described below.
Information the tools process
Every tool on the Site runs entirely in your web browser ("client-side"). When you use a tool:
- the data you provide is processed in memory on your device;
- nothing is transmitted to ToolkitJar servers, and nothing is stored by us;
- closing the page discards the data, unless the tool explicitly offers to remember your settings in your browser's local storage (which stays on your device and can be cleared at any time).
Because of this design, we have no access to the content you work with and no ability to recover it.
Information collected automatically
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) may record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used for security, capacity planning and diagnosing problems, and is retained only for a limited period.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to report how visitors use the Site: pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4. We use these aggregated reports to decide which tools to improve and build next.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent the tools from working.
Information you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed to resolve your request.
Children
The Site is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
Tool guides may link to external websites (for example official documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.
Data transfers
Our hosting, analytics and advertising providers are based in the United States and may process information there. These providers rely on recognised legal mechanisms for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not hold your tool inputs and hold very little personal information overall, most requests can be handled by adjusting your browser or the consent settings described above.
